"I feel that college is important because, in today’s day and age, it is necessary to continue your education in order to possibly earn more money and have a better career."
About Morgan
Morgan Licari dreams of one day becoming an entrepreneur. And, she knows her path to achieving that goal starts with a college education.
She began preparing for college during high school by taking dual enrollment classes. When she graduated from high school in May of 2017, she was already half way done with her associate degree.
“I would recommend that high school seniors take as many college classes as they can so they can get ahead,” she said.
Morgan is finishing her associate degree in Liberal Arts at Mohave Community College (MCC) because of the great value of community college courses.
A scholarship from MCC is helping Morgan pay for her tuition and expenses.
After she completes her associate degree, Morgan plans to join the Marines.
“I am hoping to complete my Bachelor’s Degree while I’m still in the Marines and then possibly get my Master’s Degree after I get out,” said Morgan. “Paying for college is definitely one of the reasons that I’m joining. But, the main reason I want to be a Marine is so I can serve our country and gain leadership skills that will help me in the real world.”
